Creating Affiliate Links and Landing Pages

Creating Affiliate Links and Landing Pages

Using the WYSIWYG Web Builder Software Program

Multip Monitor with web pages on them
Most people don't know that you can acutally hide your affiliate links and page redirects using another page on your website.  Yes, that's right, just make another web page on your site that automatically redirects to the affiliate link.

Smart Link Hiding...

With WYSIWYG Web Builder you can easlily create smart hidden links by using what is known as "Offset redirect pages."  Ok, what heck is that?  Basically it is a child page.  What is a child page?
Site Manager showing which page you are on
In the early days of Website creating a Parent page (Main Page) would host a list of other pages that contained other web pages that contained simular (same topic) web pages.

Each page you create can have a offset page known as a child page.  You can of course have additional Parent pages in your website as well tha will not affect one another.

Here we can sneek in a child page that will be our affiliate or landing page redirect page.

So that it will load quickly, and work with all mobile devices you will need to go to your page properties and select "Target Size."  It will say, "User select."   Choose the smallest size, 320 x 480.

Remove the title of the page, and all information regarding the page, including all SEO information.

Under the Page Properties dialog box (find by clicking the right mouse button while the cursor is on the right side of the web page) locate the Miscellaneous tab, and in the middle of the dialog box you will find "Redirect" options.
Here we will put our link to the affiliate link, or  destination website (destination from your landing page) in it.

Important... under Page properties also check off the boxes that say sync the navigation (we don't want any kind of references!), the search index, or sitemap.

You don't want any references of any kind!

Also, important...  under the Miscellaneous tab , locate the SEO, look for Redirect. Select "No Index, No follow."

Now even the best search engines won't find your redirect page or any of the contents in it.  Spiders and crawlers will shy away from it.

Yes, this is VERY IMPORTANT !  Why?  You don't want the spiders, crawlers, bots, and Index AI to credit the destination website without your affiliate information!

Besides, you are giving the credible Link Back credits with the search engines for them and not you, and you are knocking yourself out of the ranking listings.  Oh yeah!  So don't shoot yourself in the foot.

Only index and follow the pages within your website otherwise you loose all your website ranking juice.

Now you are able to stealthily create affiliate links and landing pages while maintaining your page ranking.

Important information Regarding Affiliate links which include a tracking .GIF or .PNG file at the end of the affiliates link.

Amazon and other affiliates programs will sneak in a clear .GIF or clear .PNG tacked on to the end of the affiliate link from time to time.

In fact it is a second link (clear image file).  This is a sneaky sucker, trust me. You have to have it, otherwise you don't get credit for the sale!

On the page properties, extend the length of the redirect page to 3,072 pixels.

At the bottom of the page, paste the full link (yes, the full text file) as it would appear on a normal web page.

Now scroll to the top of the page and put in the plain text.... "Page Loading...." .  Now the following is very, very important to do.

Set the redirect delay time to 3 seconds.  This gives the clear image time to be indexed by the affiliate program's affiliate page server.

Paste in the URL for the affiliate link minus the clear image file URL into the page redirect fill-in dialog box.

OK, we have the full URL to the affiliate link.  The link at the bottom of the page gives the affiliate engine what it wants, and you get what you want.... CREDIT for the sale.

The reason we want the affiliate link at the bottom is so that our customer does not SEE the affiliate link.

We are still hidden from the world, but not from the affiliate server engine!

And this is how you hide your affiliate links and landing page information from the world and still get credit for any sale made.
